Hello, I’m Jeremy Rogers, a proud father, local firefighter, and educational advocate for teachers and at-risk communities.
Together, we can remove politics from educational settings and build a future where every child has the opportunity to flourish, supported by educators who are respected, rewarded, and motivated to inspire. Join me in my run for Leon County School Board, District 4.
As the founder of Tallahassee Adventure Club, Tots and Trails, and the Killearn Sunshine Academy my primary aim has been to engage children in outdoor science and nature-based learning. My experiences have provided me with firsthand knowledge of running a business responsibly, meeting the needs of my staff and the children we serve, and inspiring them to become community leaders.
As a father, it’s been disheartening to see our school system targeted by extreme politicians distracting us from the education and well being of our kids. As a 17 year veteran firefighter, I have dedicated my life to public service and I am ready to go to work to make Leon County Schools the best school district in the state. Leon County Schools is proudly a majority-minority district and we used to be in the “top 5 of all 67 districts.” We CAN get back there, I just need your help! By working with parents, teachers, and our children to REFOCUS our efforts on student well-being and development, by ensuring teacher wages are commensurate with the work they put in and bringing financial transparency to our budget we can nurture a generation that is resilient, knowledgeable, and deeply connected to the world around them.
